Guidelines for Attending Mass:

  • Our max capacity while observing social distancing guidelines is about 300 people. If the church exceeds 300 occupants, we may have to stop allowing people in for the health and safety of others.

  • Parishioners attending Mass should wear a face covering of some sort.

  • The only entrances to the church will be the two side doors by the altar. DO NOT enter the church through the narthex doors, as they will be locked to avoid gathering in the narthex. (The bathrooms will still be accessible.)

  • To observe social distancing guidelines, we will be roping off every other pew and asking you to distance yourself from others by 6 feet, with the exception for families who may sit together.

  • We will not be distributing the Precious Blood during communion. You can still receive the fullness of Christ in the Eucharist.

  • Please consider receiving the Eucharist in the hand rather than on the tongue as an act of charity for your fellow parishioners.

  • Collection baskets will be placed at the two entrance doors rather than passed around during Mass. Please put your offertory in the collection basket as you exit the church.

  • Children's liturgy is still suspended at this time.

  • The nursery, cry-room, and gift shop will remain closed until further notice.

There have been several instances across the country of folks pretending to be parish pastors in an effort to get money and information from parishioners. Just a reminder to be careful when opening and responding to emails that appear to come from Fr. Craig. His email address is smithc@stpaulcatholic.net, so do not respond to anything that claims to be Fr. Craig but does not come from this address. If you are ever unsure about an email or text that you’ve received, please contact the Parish Office, 434-2551.
