St. Paul's Level I Atrium is wrapping up another great year! Our 2023-24 session will be open to our currently enrolled students first, and we will be accepting new students age 4 & 5. Classes will meet during our elementary Faith Formation program. Due to limited space, there is a limit to our class size, but once our main session is full, we will do our best to offer an additional class time.

What is CGS?

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is a Montessori-based approach to the religious formation of children, rooted in Sacred Scripture, Liturgy, and respect for the child’s rich relationship with God. Our level I Atrium serves children age 3-6.

A Place Prepared

In the early Church, the faithful were prepared for initiation into the life of the Church in a place prepared for the spiritual life. As their means of entrance into the church, they called this place the “Atrium.” Just so, when children are prepared for participation in the church community, the place should be prepared to help children pray. Our parish Atrium serves as this prepared space for children attending Catechesis of the Good Shepherd.
